LEE W. FREDERIKSEN, PHD
Lee has a fascinating background. He holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and is a seasoned entrepreneur and CEO himself.

After receiving his doctorate from Ohio University, Lee was a researcher and university professor, most recently at Virginia Tech. He became a leading national authority on organizational behavior management.

When he left the academic world Lee went on to direct a management consulting practice at Arthur Young and Company, focusing on strategic, organizational and human resources issues. Clients included Blue Cross/Blue Shield, the US Air Force, Department of Energy and the US Postal Service.

Ever the entrepreneur at heart, he ended up starting and running three high-growth companies in the direct marketing and consumer products fields, including an $80 million runaway success story.

Frederiksen has authored several books on marketing and management, including Handbook of Organizational Behavior Management (John Wiley & Sons). He is widely covered and published in the business press (Fortune, New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur, Business 2.0 and Advertising Age) as well as numerous trade and professional journals.

While Lee has worked with many of the largest companies in the world, such as Anheuser Busch, American Express, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Time Life, his real love lies with the small to mid-sized companies that are eager to grow and succeed.

Dr. Frederiksen has literally lectured around the globe. From Shanghai to Chicago, he has fascinated, informed and educated audiences on the topics of management, marketing and innovation. Far from stuffy or academic, his presentations are full of humor, insight and actionable advice.

DAVID B. RILEY, MBA
Dave has been a consultant to small business owners since 1980. He holds a Bachelor of Administration in Economics with a minor in Accounting and Finance and an MBA.

Dave’s early career was spent with the Marriott Corporation and with Coopers & Lybrand in the Recovery & Turnaround Division. Prior to that, he served four years in overseas assignments with the US Air Force.

When Dave ventured out on his own, he began by earning his Series Seven License from the Federal Securities and Exchange Commission.

Over the following years he raised millions of dollars for his own ventures and for those of consulting clients. He has successfully negotiated IPOs on Wall Street and bought and sold several private companies. These successes were recognized by a Virginia Chamber of Commerce when Dave was selected as The Outstanding Businessman of the Year.

He is sought after as a speaker, as well as a private counselor by owners of small and large companies.
